Authored Stoke identity / fictional shop

Welcome to the corner.

Saggar is a fictional local-store identity with a strong sense of place, a clearer shelf and a little more care in the details.

Warm fictional storefront on a Stoke-inspired street

The idea

A shop that feels nearby.

The Saggar Lane Stores identity takes the practical store-locator and catalogue grammar of a convenience storefront and gives it a more authored local rhythm: one warm fascia, one written address, one useful route at a time.

The bottle kilns, brick, lantern and basket belong to the fictional demo world. They are a Stoke-on-Trent cue, not a claim about a real premises or company.

How the corner works

Useful, honest, local.

The page system is deliberately simple: help someone find the shop, help them understand the offer, then let them preview a visit without pretending there is a live retail system behind it.

01 / Place

Stoke in the details.

Brick, bottle-kiln silhouettes, warm shop light and a fictional Burslem address give the identity a local anchor.

02 / Shelf

Catalogue with calm.

Filter and search make the illustrative basket flow easy to understand on desktop and mobile.

03 / Truth

Nothing hidden.

Prices, stock, services, hours, imagery and contact details are clearly marked as fictional or local-only.

The mark

A shopfront, a basket, a light.

The primary Saggar artwork is an original local illustration for header, loader and larger card contexts. The simplified SVG mark is reserved for favicon scale, so the identity stays legible in small browser chrome.
