Good to know

Your questions, answered

Quotes, guarantees, planning and timescales — the things worth knowing before you build.

Do you give fixed quotes?

Yes. After a survey you get a fully itemised written quote, and that's the price. If something genuinely unforeseen comes up we agree it with you in writing first — never a surprise on the invoice.

Are you insured and guaranteed?

We carry £5m public liability and every project comes with a written 10-year structural guarantee. We're TrustMark registered and FMB members.

Do you handle planning and Building Regs?

We can manage the whole thing — drawings, planning applications and Building Control sign-off — or work alongside your own architect.

Will my site be tidy?

Every day. We sheet up, sweep down and keep dust and mess to a minimum — most of our work is in occupied homes, so it matters.

How long will my project take?

You get a written programme before we start. A typical single-storey extension runs 8–12 weeks; we'll give you real dates, not vague ones.

Do you use your own tradespeople?

Yes — bricklayers, joiners, plasterers and labourers are directly employed. We only bring in specialists (like electricians and gas engineers) who we've worked with for years.

Can I see previous work?

Of course. We'll show you finished projects near you and put you in touch with past clients who are happy to talk.

How do I get a quote?

Call us or send the form with a few details and photos. We'll book a survey, usually within the week, and quote within a few days of that.
