Everything we get asked, in one place.
Brightloom is a fictional demonstration, so the policies below are sample answers rather than live business commitments.
Do I need to be home for my clean?
No — most clients are out. Leave a key, use a keysafe or let a neighbour in, whatever you would rather. We record the arrangement for every visit.
Are your cleaners DBS-checked and insured?
Yes. Every cleaner is DBS-checked before their first visit, and Brightloom carries public liability cover. We can show both before you book.
What is the difference between regular and deep cleaning?
Regular cleaning keeps on top of everyday rooms. A deep or end-of-tenancy clean goes further into ovens, windows, skirting, grout and the build-up a weekly visit does not need to touch. First cleans are usually timed as a deeper visit.
Do you clean around pets?
Yes — tell us at booking if your pet needs a little space or a closed door while the clean is underway, and we will note it on the visit.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Yes — there is no lock-in contract. Tell us as early as you can so the cleaner's time can be released or moved.
How does the price work?
The instant-quote calculator gives you a starting range from rooms, clean type and extras. It cannot see the condition of a home, so the final price is confirmed after a quick look or call.
Do you bring products and equipment?
Whichever you would rather. We can bring our own products and equipment or use yours if you prefer particular ones.
Do you do ovens, carpets and windows?
Yes — ovens, carpets and inside windows can be added to a clean or booked on their own. Select them as extras in the quote tool.
